By way of advanced wide field imaging, we can evaluate retina up to 200 degrees in the periphery to rule out pathology such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments and tears without the need for dilation. As much as 70% of pathology can be found in the far regions of your retina which cannot be evaluated without the use of wide-field retinal imaging or dilation.
